MBA Application Essays are Different and Special

Essays, like history, have a lot in common. They depend on the way they are transcribed.
Normal essay writing, i.e. for college assignments have lesser impacts and grey areas. But MBA applications have a totally different stake. Our 10 years of B School consultancy has brought this to picture that almost all the applicants have wrong notions about writing essays. Quiet expected, the reasoning, presentation, sentence structure, flow and many such nuances of killer essays are always misdirected. We have seen some jaw dropping writing talents(some of them speech writers for others, winners of national level competitions) but when it came to describe themselves in words, they seemed very ordinary.
We have terms like "revisionist history" to account for the fact that people will believe and understand your claims in the way they were presented. Research shows that biographies have been more successful than autobiographies. Somebody else's pen makes you look better in words.
